Brooke Shepard

Profile: Brooke recently joined Current Lifestyle Marketing to lead the firm’s consumer technology practice, where he focuses on making tech companies into lifestyle brands. In his fifteen years of experience, Brooke has won numerous awards developing creative campaigns that span traditional PR, marketing and social media. Brooke helped Samsung navigate from a 3D TV launch in the spring featuring the Black Eyed Peas in Times Square to a Smart TV launch at last year's CES featuring Hulu, Comcast and Time Warner Cable. For several years he also led the mobile segment for global communications agency Weber Shandwick. He’s worked with Blackberry, Tellme and Microsoft Windows and Windows Phones. Prior to his work in technology, Brooke focused on consumer packaged goods, and past clients have included Nestlé, the Campbell Soup Company, Kraft Foods, SC Johnson, and the National Milk Mustache “got milk?” campaign. Brooke is passionate about using emerging technologies to engage audiences, and this summer taught a ten-week course on ‘anyscreen’ storytelling in the University of Washington's Masters of Digital Communications program. He loves to help clients ‘geek out’ and make difficult-to-understand stories exciting to people outside traditional tech circles – reaching the consumer audiences they truly need to engage to be successful.
